About Us

Our Strategy

Established in June 2021, the Global Digital Economy Forum is committed to enabling international cooperation on the governance challenges arising from digital transformation. The Forum's core strengths are convening stakeholders across sectors, building institutional trust, and facilitating evidence-based progress. Our work is organised around three thematic pillars — Regulation & Policy, Finance & Economy, and Technology & Transformation — each designed to address a critical dimension of the global digital economy.

We drive collaboration across interconnected digital economy challenges: governance, trade, financial inclusion, data sovereignty, and technological transformation. From regulatory harmonisation and central bank digital currencies to AI governance and cross-border data flows, the Forum helps institutional leaders navigate systemic complexity and act with shared purpose.

We engage with stakeholders across government, academia, and industry to facilitate cooperation and measurable progress — advancing the conditions for a more inclusive, resilient, and well-governed global digital economy.

Mission

Our mission is to improve the state of the global digital economy by fostering cross-border knowledge exchange, multistakeholder cooperation, and the development of governance frameworks grounded in rigorous analysis and inclusive dialogue.

Values

Our values shape institutional decision-making, guide our engagement with partners, and define the standards to which we hold our work.
